Let them decide…

Give your loved one the perfect gift this Christmas, a voucher from Cawley’s.

They will have an array of options to choose from, including overnight accommodation while exploring the Sligo and the northwest. There are plenty of walks and spectacular views of clear lakes, rivers and dramatic mountains and cairns, details on all the walks can be found on sligowalks.ie Visit Loughs Talt, Gara and Arrow and enjoy the scenic loops surrounding them. The impressive Carrowkeel Megalithic Tombs is worth a visit or hike up the Ox Mountains. You can also combine our lunch offering with a guided walk with John Wild Wet Adventures, read reviews of this experience by Michael Guilfoyle of The Irish Times and Jennifer of Sidewalk Safari.

After all the craziness of the festive season, they can enjoy a family catch up over afternoon tea in the new year. They can relax and enjoy delicious sandwiches, mini desserts & homemade scones with freshly brewed tea or coffee.

We serve lunch in our bar every day, or they could book a meal in our restaurant and try our signature dish – a seafood chowder, with local seafood and Wild Atlantic Oysters.

The voucher can be used for our over 55’s package. This package includes our homemade scones with tea or coffee on arrival, bed & breakfast and a 3-course evening meal, all for €55 per person sharing. There are plenty of activities and sights to see while staying in Tubbercurry and using us as your base to explore the surrounding counties. Their host Teresa can recommend a number of local attractions from Irish music at Coleman Centre in Gurteen, Hawks Well Theatre in Sligo, Foxford Woollen Mills to The Model Sligo, depending on their tastes.

There are several festivals to be enjoyed in the North West and where better to stay than in Cawley’s Guesthouse in Tubbercurry. Some of the most popular festivals attract people from all over the country and indeed further afield to enjoy the Western Drama Festival and the South Sligo Summer School. The Tubbercurry Old Fair Day in August attracts up to 17k people every year and is a great day out for all the family. The voucher can be used to book accommodation over the course of any of these festivals, or to stop in and enjoy lunch or dinner.
