Tubbercurry Old Fair Day Festival 2014 – 9th to 13th August

Tubbercurry will come alive this August with the 29th Old Fair Day Festival.

The Tubbercurry Old Fair Day Festival’s highlight is the Old Fair Day, which is always held on the second Wednesday in August. This gives you the chance to relive yesteryear on the Fair Day in Our Heritage Village where you can experience the sights and sounds and Smells of Fair Days gone by with live animals, live demonstrations of thatching, weaving, Butter-making, trashing, pottery making, rush work and much, much more.”

The festival attracts over 20,000 people to Tubbercurry over the five day event and is a fantastic showcase of traditional Irish heritage and crafts. Cawley’s are delighted to support the festival and Teresa is once again very proud to be a member of the organising committee.
