Launch of Sligo County Fleadh in Tubbercurry
Last Wednesday 18th May saw the launch of Sligo County Fleadh in Cawley’s by Paul Taylor Leas Cathaoirleach of Sligo County Council. Young musicians entertained the guests as they started to arrive. Martin Enright gave an excellent presentation on music and social events at the beginning of the twentieth century discussing music around the time of 1916. Followed by a lively music session.
