Ballygawley Music Festival, Ballygawley
The Ballygawley Music Festival is heading into its sixth year, and has experienced incredible success, already cementing itself as one of the North West’s biggest music festivals. With acts already confirmed such as Johnny Brady, the Tumbling Paddies and Mike Denver, be sure to get your tickets quickly to avoid disappointment.
The festival is taking place on Friday the 18th, Saturday the 19th and Sunday the 20th of July, with more information and tickets available at www.ballygawleymusicfestival.com.
Black Pig Festival, Enniscrone
The Black Pig Festival, named after a local legend, takes place in the beautiful, seaside Enniscrone. Celebrating music, arts, comedy and theatre, it is a wonderful celebration that is thoroughly enjoyed by all. With a funfair for the little ones, there is something for everyone to enjoy.
The Black Pig Festival is taking place in Enniscrone from Thursday the 24th to Monday the 28th of July this year, with tickets typically available through Eventbrite closer to the time.
South Sligo Summer School, Tubbercurry
The South Sligo Summer School attracts visitors from all over the world to promoting the old Sligo traditional style of music. It boasts a full range of classes, workshops, talks and so much more, allowing a platform for young, emerging talent.
The Summer School will be taking place this July, from Sunday the 13th until Saturday the 19th. Details are yet to be confirmed, but if you are interested, keep an eye out on www.southsligosummerschool.com for more information.
The Old Fair Day, Tubbercurry
Another Tubbercurry-based festival, the Old Fair Day is loved by all who frequent it. With heritage craft demonstrations, artisan stalls, vintage displays, live music, a family fun zone including a fun fair, as well as so much more, the Old Fair Day festival never disappoints.
Taking place just outside our doorstep here at Cawley’s, the Old Fair Day is close to our hearts. Join us this August from Saturday the 9th until Wednesday the 13th. The Old Fair Day has no entry fee and is the perfect day out with all the family – we look forward to seeing you there this August.
The Taste of Sligo Food Festival, Sligo Town
Though not technically a summer festival, we all know that September normally sees better weather than the former months. Promoting the incredible food scene in Sligo and the North West of Ireland, the Taste of Sligo Food Festival hosts local and celebrity chef demonstrations, as well as a family fun area, live music and more.
