Western Drama Festival

The Three Act Festival returns to Tubbercurry anually, with 9 nightly shows. Tubbercurry’s festival is one of the best in Ireland and always has the most talented drama groups in the country participating in it.

South Sligo Summer School

South Sligo Summer School is a week-long festival which celebrates Traditional music, song and dance. The festival is held in Tubbercurry and attracts musicians, singers and dancers from all over the world and from every corner in Ireland.

Visitors can enjoy listening to the very best of traditional music over the duration of the festival while also exploring the locality in between sessions and classes. Our location provides you with an ideal base to explore County Sligo, the North West of Ireland and The Wild Atlantic Way. Old Fair Day Tubbercurry

The Tubbercurry Old Fair Day takes place on the second Wednesday in August. The festival has events and activities suitable for all the family. The 5-day event leads up to the Old Fair Day on Wednesday which allows people to experience fair days gone by with the arts, crafts and heritage village, artisan food and bread displays. The kids will have plenty to do with the Teddy Bear’s Picnic, the Family Fun Day, a treasure hunt, bouncy castles and much more. We are delighted to continue our sponsorship of the Tubbercurry Old Fair Day Festival.

Brown Bread & Jam Club

The Annual Brown Bread and Jam Club will take place in November at Cawley’s in Tubbercurry. Enjoy a free evening of entertainment with storytelling, verse, music and of course brown bread & jam. Musicians, Storytellers and Singers will gather from all over Ireland to take part in an evening full of stories and recitations. Homemade brown bread & jam will be served along with mugs of tea after which you will be entertained throughout the evening with a few humorous songs and tunes.
