If you are looking to stretch the legs during your stay at Cawley’s Guest House, we have the scenic Lough Talt right on our Doorstep. The picturesque Lough Talt is located only a short drive (12 minutes) from Cawley’s, a nice afternoon out spent in the fresh air, amongst mountains and endless views.

Lough Talt is a moderate walk, consisting of lakeshores and lane ways, taking approximately 1 hour to complete, we think it’s the perfect location for an afternoon stroll… 5.5km walking distance through lush green forestry and beautiful scenery, what’s not to love?  Pack-a-picnic, order a fresh, homemade lunch from Cawley’s to take with you on the walk, ask at reception for options available to you.
